India, the table-toppers of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 are now out of this tournament. India’s start to this ICC CWC was amazing they were unbeaten team till they lost against England. Today they lost against New Zealand in Semi-Final and their dreams of winning the Cricket World Cup 2019 are now ended.
First lets talk about India’s matches is this world cup. India played their first match of ICC CWC 19 on 5 June against South Africa and won the match by 6 wickets, In that match, Rohit scored a brilliant hundred and was called out the Player Of The Match. They extremely played well in their second match of the tournament and beat the opponent Australia by 36 runs, Shikar Dhawan was called out the player of the match. In the third match which was against New Zealand, the match was abandoned without a ball bowled.
Their fourth match was against Pakistan and they beat them by 89 runs (DLS METHOD), In the fifth match, they beat Afghanistan by 11 runs. However, they won by 125 runs against West Indies in their sixth match. Unfortunately, they lost against England by 31 runs which was their seventh match of the CWC 19. After this lost they came back strongly and beat Bangladesh by 28 runs in their eighth match and beat Srilanka by 7 wickets in their last match of the group stage of this tournament. Rohit Sharma performance was excellent in the whole tournament. Bumrah bowling was also a big source of India’s winning.
India v New Zealand yes the 1st semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup, they lost. Their bowling department did their job and stopped New Zealand batsmen in 239 runs, I think this was an easy target to chase especially when you have legends like Rohit, Kohli, and Dhoni but unfortunately, they failed to win the game and lost by 18 runs. Rohit, Rahul and Captain Kohli departed when the team score was just 5 runs, credit to Kiwis bowlers how well they bowled in a pressure game. Dhoni and Jadeja tried their best but unfortunately, luck was not there to help them.
Pakistani fans are enjoying this moment, they think India lost that match against England because their victory can favor Pakistan to reach the semi-final but now New Zealand did the job for Pak Fans. Memes makers are making memes on India team they are saying when India lost to Pakistan in Champions Trophy 2017 they were saying “Agar Pandya Run Out Na Hota” and now they are like “Agar Dhoni Run Out Na Hota” some are saying KARMA IS BITCH.
